"If" is a poem written in 1895 by Rudyard Kipling and first published in the Brother Square Toes chapter of Rewards and Fairies, Kipling's 1910 collection of short stories and poems.

Joseph Rudyard Kipling
1865–1936, English author, b. Bombay (now Mumbai), India. He was one of the first masters of the short story in English and the first to use Cockney dialect in serious poetry.

Dennis Lee Hopper (born May 17, 1936) is an Academy Award-nominated American actor and film-maker.
